Summer Quran course students in Manisa's Sarıgöl district visited the graves of martyrs and veterans and commemorated them with prayers within the scope of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
Summer Quran course students studying at Bereketli District Mosque visited the graves of martyr Fevzi Tekeş and late Cyprus Veteran Hüseyin Gürbüzer in the neighborhood cemetery, under the leadership of Mosque Imam Ali Arslan.
During the visit, the students read the Holy Quran and prayed for the martyrs and veterans. In the program, the message was given that the martyrs who died for the sake of the country and the veterans who earned a place in the hearts of the nation with their sacrifices were not forgotten.
Bereketli Mosque Imam Hatibi Ali Arslan, in his statement after the visit, said, "On the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, we visited the graves of our martyrs and veterans with our students and read the Quran. May God accept our recited hatim and prayers." he said.
The event ended after the students were informed about the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans. - MANISA
