Programs were organized in Ulaş, Hafik, Zara, Şarkışla and Akıncılar districts of Sivas on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
Within the scope of the event organized in cooperation with the Ulaş District Governorate and the municipality, a "National Unity and Solidarity" march was held with the participation of the district protocol, veterans, political party representatives, headmen and citizens.
District Governor Veli Avcı, Mayor Turan İlbey, district protocol, institution employees, headmen, political party representatives and citizens attended the event, which continued at Democracy Square.
A "National Unity and Solidarity" march was held in Hafik from Atatürk Street to the front of the government building.
In the program held here, prayers were made and hymns and poems were read by District Mufti Vezbet Kartal.
Hafik District Governor Funda Hamza Çaldağı, Mayor Habip Görler, institution chiefs, political party representatives and citizens attended the program.
With the participation of Zara District Governor Malik Çalışır, Mayor Fatih Çelik, district protocol and citizens, a march was organized from in front of Zara Martyrs' Cemetery to Zara National Garden.
At the event, which continued in the National Garden, a show was performed by the Mehteran team.
In the program, a video showing the documentaries of July 15 and Martyr Halil Kantarcı was shown, and heroic folk songs were sung.
District protocol, families of martyrs, veterans, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations and citizens attended the program.
The program, organized by Şarkışla District Governorate, started with the Mawlid at Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu Mosque.
After the recitation of the Holy Quran and prayers, the "15 July Painting and Photography Exhibition" was opened at Aşık Veysel Cultural Center.
Martyrs' graves were visited at Şarkışla Garrison Martyrdom, prayers were said and carnations were left.
The march, which started in front of Şarkışla Municipality accompanied by the janissary band, ended at the City Square.
