The second quarter 2026 transparency report published by Bitget revealed that users switch between stocks, precious metals and digital assets according to market conditions, rather than focusing only on crypto assets.

The transaction share of stocks increased to 6.48 percent

According to the report, the share of stocks in total transaction activity remained at approximately 1 percent throughout most of April and May.

In June, the share of stock transactions exceeded 3 percent on some days, reaching 6.48 percent at the highest level.

The data showed that tokenized stocks and products that provide access to traditional markets are starting to gain a more visible place in user behavior.

Remarkable activity in precious metals

The report stated that precious metals account for 40 percent to 55 percent of total transaction activity, especially on active market days.

On weekends when traditional markets were closed, it was observed that the transaction share of crypto assets increased again to 90 percent to 99 percent.

This chart shows that users change their trading preferences according to market open hours, price movements and situations in different asset groups.

Shift between crypto, gold and stocks accelerates

In his evaluation of the report, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said that the competition between crypto exchanges has been shaped by the number of tokens listed for many years, and in the new period, access to traditional financial assets through digital channels has become more important.

Chen stated that users move between crypto assets, gold and stocks according to market conditions, and this behavior increases the importance of multi-asset infrastructures.

Tokenized stocks are becoming mainstream

Bitget announced that it is expanding its infrastructure for tokenized and traditional equity products during the second quarter.

*Introduced tokenized stock and ETF products based on one-to-one asset backing.

*Access to over a hundred tokenized stocks and ETFs provided.

*Developed products for US-listed stocks and stock options for eligible users.

*The infrastructure for using some tokenized assets as collateral has been expanded.

The company stated that certain tokenized stock and ETF products can be considered collateral within the unified account infrastructure.

Platform assets reached $5.75 billion

According to the data announced by Bitget, the platform recorded a net fund inflow of $ 359.37 million in April.

It was stated that in the same period, the average daily transaction volume remained above 10 billion dollars, and the total assets held on the platform reached 5.75 billion dollars.

It was reported that the open position size was at the level of 8.10 billion dollars.

This data is based on figures shared by the company in its own transparency report.

The report also included data on artificial intelligence-supported trading tools.

According to Bitget's statement, more than one million users used artificial intelligence-supported trading tools and the total volume of these transactions exceeded 1.2 billion dollars.

The company also reported that the proof-of-reserve ratio was maintained above 120 percent throughout the second quarter.

Second quarter data shows that the boundaries between crypto assets and traditional financial products are increasingly converging.

The fact that users turn to different asset classes according to market conditions accelerates activities to offer tokenized stocks, precious metals and digital assets on the same technological infrastructure.

Bitget states that it aims to develop a more integrated infrastructure between crypto assets, tokenized products and traditional financial instruments within the scope of the approach it calls Universal Exchange.
