Hatay Governor Mustafa Masatlı inspected the ongoing Kara Border Gate Modernization Project in the Yayladağı district.

With the civil war that began in Syria in 2011 ending in 2024, the Yayladağı district, located at ground zero on Turkey's southernmost border, has become one of the important points for crossings. Following these developments, efforts began to modernize the Yayladağı Kara Border Gate located in the district. Governor Masatlı, who inspected the modernization activities carried out at the Yayladağı Kara Border Gate on-site, received information from officials about the ongoing activities within the scope of the project. While the latest status of the activities at the border gate was evaluated, the project aims to increase service quality upon its completion.

Governor Masatlı stated that with the modernization project, the border gate will gain a structure that offers more modern, secure, and qualified services, adding that the activities are being carried out meticulously. - HATAY
