In Adana, a mother was injured but survived after being hit by a drunk driver, while her daughter lost her life. Hülya Büyükyolaçan, 75, who lost her daughter in the accident, said, "He was drunk, he fled. I want justice for my daughter. My heart is broken." The driver, who surrendered a day after the accident, was found to have had a blood alcohol level of approximately 2.40 per mille at the time of the incident, according to expert calculations, and was sent to prison.
