After an argument over throwing garbage on a pole near the 112 station in Bursa, a group of 7-8 foreign nationals attacked healthcare workers. In the incident recorded on security cameras, two emergency medical technicians were injured as a result of beating. It was seen that the attackers punched the door of the station in an argument after leaving garbage in front of the station, and attacked the paramedics after they came out.
The incident took place in Gülbahçe District of the central Osmangazi district, at around 20:00 in the evening, at Gülbahçe 112 Emergency Health Services Station. The argument that started because of garbage disposal quickly escalated into a fight. Allegedly, a group of 7-8 foreign nationals first reacted to the paramedics inside by punching the door of 112 Emergency Health Services Station. Paramedics T.E. and O.A., who went out to warn them, were attacked by the group. Two paramedics were beaten and injured during the brawl.
Upon notice, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After their first aid, the injured paramedics were taken to the hospital by ambulance and treated. It was claimed that a cutting tool fell from the foreign national's pocket during the fight, and an investigation was launched into the incident.
In the footage captured on a workplace security camera, it was seen that the group first punched the door of the station, and after the paramedics came out, a fight broke out between the parties and two paramedics were beaten.
Regarding the incident, Gülbahçe Neighborhood Headman Ömer Şen said, "A fight breaks out over the garbage disposal issue. Foreign nationals attack our healthcare workers. Afterwards, our police teams intervene in the incident. We trust the decisions of our state on the issue, they will take the necessary action. Our healthcare professionals are our lives. We do not like that they are going through such a situation, I wish all healthcare professionals get well soon."
