The war is escalating in the Middle East. US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that a large-scale operation against critical military facilities in Iran ended in the evening. Immediately after the operation, Iran began retaliatory attacks against allied countries in the region.

In the official statement made by CENTCOM, it was emphasized that the main purpose of the attacks was to weaken Iran's capacity to target commercial ships and civilian sailors passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The details of the operation were shared as follows in the statement: "The US military continues to hold Iran responsible in accordance with the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief."

"Iran's military command centers, air defense positions, missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) production capacities and coastal surveillance facilities were targeted."

CENTCOM announced that within the scope of the operation, targets were hit with precision with precision-guided munitions at multiple strategically important points, including Bandar Abbas. It was reminded that before the evening operation, Iran's coastal defense and cruise missile positions on the Great Tunb Island were destroyed in the first wave of attacks that lasted 90 minutes in the morning.

Following the heavy blows against the US military infrastructure, the response from the Iranian front was not delayed. The Tehran administration targeted the Gulf countries Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait, which host US military bases.

Bahrain's Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the country was the target of new attacks and attack sirens were sounding in many regions. An urgent call was made to the public to remain calm and take shelter in safe areas without delay.

The Kuwaiti army announced that its air defense systems have been activated against kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) entering its airspace. In the statement made by the army, it was stated that "The explosion sounds to be heard are the result of efforts to prevent hostile elements" and citizens were asked to strictly comply with the security instructions issued by the official authorities.

On the other hand, it was reported that the US military's communication systems and fuel storage facilities were targeted in the UAV attacks on US military facilities in Jordan.
