Trainee students studying at Ağrı Youth Center read the Holy Quran for the martyrs of July 15 and all the martyrs who lost their lives for the sake of the country, in the program organized on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
Youth leaders, volunteer youth and trainee students attended the commemoration program held at the Youth Center operating within the Ağrı Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate.
In the program, the Holy Quran was recited for the souls of the citizens who were martyred during the July 15 coup attempt and all the martyrs who died for the sake of the indivisible integrity of the country. After the recitation, prayers were made and the martyrs were commemorated with mercy and gratitude.
At the event, the importance of protecting the national will and protecting the legacy of the martyrs was emphasized, while young people were informed about strengthening the awareness of national unity and solidarity.
Ağrı Youth and Sports Provincial Director Ahmet Çelebi, in his statement after the program, stated that transferring national and spiritual values to young generations is one of the most important responsibilities.
Stating that they will continue to carry out similar activities in order to transfer the spirit of July 15 to future generations, Çelebi said, "We commemorate our beloved martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our country and flag with mercy and gratitude. We will always hold this sacred trust they left at the highest level, together with our youth, who are the guarantee of our future." he said.
