A fire lit to clear weeds in Ankara's Altındağ district got out of control and spread to the nearby house.
The fire occurred in Karapürçek District of Altındağ district. Allegedly, the flames, which broke out out of the control of a citizen who lit a fire to clear the weeds on the land, grew in a short time and spread to a detached house in the surrounding area. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene upon the notice of citizens who noticed the smoke. With the intervention of the teams, the flames were taken under control and extinguished. While no one was injured in the incident, material damage occurred in the house. - ANKARA
