Minister of TRADE Ömer Bolat had a meeting with European Commission Member Responsible for Trade and Economic Security Maroš Šefcovic in Brussels.
In his post on his virtual media account, Minister Bolat stated that they had a constructive meeting with Šefcovic and said, "Before the High Level Trade Dialogue meeting that we will hold next October, we discussed with satisfaction the progress we have made in close dialogue on the issues on our common agenda, especially steel and e-commerce. In line with the road map we drew in the High Level Trade Dialogue, we evaluated the steps that will further deepen our existing cooperation in new areas such as public procurement and digital trade. Shaped within the scope of the EU's new era industrial and investment strategies "We confirmed our common understanding that the 'Made in EU' approach should be handled with a vision that will support our Customs Union partnership and deep-rooted economic integration," he said.
