A mawlid was read for the martyrs of July 15 in Hizan district of Bitlis.
In the program organized by Hizan Mufti in the Central Mosque, the Holy Quran and Mevlid-i Şerif were read.
Following the program, which ended with prayers for the July 15 martyrs and veterans, Hizan District Governor Mete Öztürk visited the institution chiefs and the families of martyred security guards Mustafa Derince and Salih Güven.
Chatting with the families, Öztürk said that the state always stands by the families of the martyrs.
Mayor Yahya Şam, District Gendarmerie Battalion Commander Major Sancar Aydın and institution chiefs attended the program.
