Subaru and BMW decided to recall a total of 570 thousand 356 vehicles in the USA. While Subaru recalled 541 thousand 237 vehicles due to incorrect Gross Axle Weight information on certification labels, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported the situation.
BMW is recalling 29,119 vehicles due to corrosion in the engine starter relay and the risk of flames caused by overheating. Models covered by the recall include the 530e xDrive, 740Le xDrive and some iPerformance vehicles. Authorized services will replace the engine starting system free of charge.
