Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, opened the 15 July Victory of the National Will Digital Display Exhibition and the 15 July themed exhibitions prepared by the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the General Directorate of the Press Advertisement Agency.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibitions specially created on the 10th anniversary of FETO's treacherous coup attempt in the Parliament Hall of Honor within the scope of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day commemoration programs, Kurtulmuş said that the most difficult night in Turkey's recent history was the night of July 15.
Stating that it was meaningful to be together at the opening of such important exhibitions under the roof of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, right next to the bombed area on the night of July 15, Kurtulmuş emphasized that 10 years have passed since the coup attempt, but they have never forgotten the betrayal of July 15 and will never let them forget.
Kurtulmuş said, "Together, in the spirit of national unity and solidarity, we will be together as one against all the enemies we know and do not know who aim at the future, independence and future of this country, and we will jointly fight for democracy, human rights, freedoms and the progress of the country." he said.
Thanking those who contributed to the opening of the exhibitions, Kurtulmuş said, "I hope this exhibition will help keep our memories alive. It will help us never forget our pain. It will help us, as a nation, to always be alert against the treacherous occupation attempt of July 15." he said.
The "July 15 Victory of the National Will Digital Display Exhibition", which can be visited in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Hall of Honor, brings together citizens with content reflecting the historical role of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey as the manifestation of the national will on the night of July 15 and the nation's determination to protect democracy. Digital screenings prepared with the theme "Our Will, Our Victory" convey to visitors through visual expressions the determined stance of continuing its activities despite the bombing of the Gazi Parliament.
The works of martyrs' relatives and veterans are included in the "Art Encouragement and Art Exhibition in Commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of July 15" prepared by the Ministry of Family and Social Services.
In the "15 July Headlines Journalism Workshop Exhibition" with the theme "Preserve the Memory, Write the Truth" prepared by the General Directorate of the Press Advertisement Agency, there are the first pages of 34 newspapers focusing on the night of July 15.
