Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmuş, presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the veterans who kept the Turkish Grand National Assembly open during FETO's treacherous coup attempt on July 15 and sacrificed their lives to prevent the coup.
Kurtulmuş, in his reception of veterans in the Parliament, stated that 10 years have passed since July 15 and that they will never forget that night and will not let them forget it.
Stating that many visible and invisible heroism took place in that dark night, Kurtulmuş emphasized that the openness of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the convening of the General Assembly during the attacks of the coup plotters were one of the most important turning points that prevented the coup plotters.
Stating that the courage and determination shown by the nation in order to protect the national will and the epic he wrote are above all praise and praise, Kurtulmuş expressed his gratitude and gratitude to all the veterans who sacrificed their lives for the sake of independence and the future, remembered the martyrs with mercy, and thanked the nation that filled the squares that night.
