The General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly convened under the chairmanship of the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Pervin Buldan.
Before moving on to the agenda, Buldan made an off-agenda promise to 3 MPs.
Dem Party Hakkari Deputy Onur Düşünmez argued that Hakkari's economy is one of the "worst" provinces and said that the city's infrastructure and superstructure problems should be resolved.
CHP Artvin Deputy Uğur Bayraktutan commemorated İsmet Acar, a businessman from Artvin who lost his life. Stating that Acar touched people's lives, Bayraktutan wished God's mercy to Acar.
AK Party Istanbul Deputy İsa Messi Şahin stated that the traitors could not calculate the nation's fondness for freedom on July 15 and underestimated its courage and daring.
Noting that there was not only a physical struggle on July 15, Şahin said, "When talking about July 15, it is not enough to talk only about tanks, bombs and planes; what really needs to be explained is the will that emerged that night, the noble spirit of our nation that emerged that night." he said.
