In Ankara, a tradesman and his friend were beaten and attacked by a large group of people who warned them for parking the truck in the wrong place. The moment of the fight was captured on the shop's security camera.
The incident took place in Mamak district, Türközü District, 433rd Street. Allegedly, Bekir Erden (33) wanted to warn the people who got out of the truck parked in front of the locksmith shop. Stating that he had to go to work, Erden stated that he could not take his car out because of the truck and that the place where they stopped was not suitable for parking and that the vehicle should be parked somewhere else. The argument that broke out between Erden and the crowded group who did not pay attention to the warning turned into a fight when Erden's friend Muhammet Zeynel (19) tried to intervene to end the argument. Claiming that they parked the truck to carry household goods, the group beat Erden and Zeynel with kicks and punches for minutes. While the fight was ended with the intervention of the police teams and other tradesmen in the area, who were dispatched to the scene upon notice, the injured Erden and Zeynel were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Erden and Zeynel, who were kept under observation in the hospital for a while as a precaution, filed a complaint against the attackers after they were discharged. Erden, who also claimed that they were threatened, noted that they will continue their legal struggle.
Speaking about the incident, Muhammet Zeynel said, "The truck had pulled up to the front of the shop. The people who came said they were going to carry goods. Since we were going to work, we asked them to move the truck off the road. They did not accept. My brother Bekir wanted to start his own vehicle at that time, but he could not. His vehicle was broken down. Then they attacked my brother Bekir. They swore and started hitting him. I slightly pushed one of the attackers to protect him. At that time, they started attacking me too. They started hitting us without stopping. "A police officer was passing by at that time. Most of the attackers ran away after the incident. I felt pain in my lips and eyebrows. I felt dizzy after being hit. We filed a complaint with the police."
