Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan said, "We will continue our determination in the fight against unemployment and our practices to bring our citizens, especially women and young people, into the labor market." he said.
Işıkhan shared a post on his NSosyal account about the Economy Coordination Board meeting held under the chairmanship of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz.
Stating that employment moves and the situations in the labor market were discussed at the meeting, Minister Işıkhan said:
"Thanks to the skill and employment policies we have implemented in full coordination with our economic management, the unemployment rate has continued to remain in single digits for more than 3 years. We will continue our determination in the fight against unemployment and our practices to bring our citizens, especially women and young people, into the labor market."
