238 suspects were detained in the inspections and operations carried out against narcotics, public order and smuggling crimes by the Provincial Police Department and Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams in Bolu between 6 and 12 July. Various amounts of drugs and contraband products were seized during the operations.
As part of the fight against narcotic crimes, 12 suspects were detained in operations carried out at 7 addresses throughout the city. One of the suspects who was referred to the courthouse was sent to prison by the court. During the searches at the addresses, 96.35 grams of bonzai raw materials, 16.94 grams of methamphetamine, 36 grams of marijuana and 2 drug paraphernalia were seized.
171 suspects were caught in public order incidents
During the public order activities carried out throughout the province, the teams intervened in 312 incidents. 171 suspects determined to be linked to the events were detained. Two of the suspects who were referred to the courthouse were sent to prison. 30 people who had arrest warrants for various crimes were also caught during the practices. 15 of the suspects who were referred to the judicial authorities were arrested and sent to prison.
One suspect was detained in an operation carried out at one address within the scope of the fight against smuggling and organized crime. During the searches, 22 thousand pieces of tobacco and 800 macarons were seized. During the inspections aimed at preventing immigrant smuggling and human trafficking, 24 irregular immigrants who were determined to have entered the country illegally were caught.
