18 suspects who were detained for the murder of the bus stop leader Osman Bulaş (43) with a shotgun at the minibus stop in AFYONKARAHİSAR were sent to the courthouse.
The incident took place around 09:00 on July 13, in the container belonging to the Uydukent Bus Stop Directorate affiliated with the Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Drivers and Automobile Tradesmen, located behind the Provincial Special Administration Campus in Dörtyol District. Allegedly, S.K., who was released from prison, wanted to operate on the minibus line where Osman Bulaş was the bus stop leader. There was tension between the parties after Bulaş rejected S.K.'s request on the grounds that he did not meet the necessary conditions. Allegedly, S.K. and a group accompanying him came to the stop on the day of the incident to intimidate. Here S.K. An argument broke out between Osman Bulaş and his entourage. After the growing argument, Bulaş was shot as a result of opening fire with a shotgun. In the fight, minibus driver İ.Ç. (38) was also injured. Upon notice, many police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. In the investigation, it was determined that Osman Bulaş lost his life. The injured minibus driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance and received treatment.
Afyonkarahisar Provincial Police Department teams quickly identified the escaped suspects using mobile phone records, license plate recognition systems and field activities. Y.B., who was determined to have opened fire with a shotgun, was caught while trying to escape in Ataköy District. Within the scope of the operation, S.K. 18 suspects, including Y.B. and Y.B., were taken into custody. 2 shotguns and knives used in the incident were seized. 18 suspects, whose interrogations at the police station were completed, were sent to the courthouse under extensive security measures.
