Education Power Sen Chairman Oğuz Özat shared information about salary and attendance fee payments for July. Making a statement on his social media account, Özat stated that his salary was updated in line with the raise applied to all civil servants and said, "Since the establishment of the union, I have never received travel, daily allowance or fuel fees for myself or within the scope of union activities. I especially expect the same transparency from the authorized union Eğitim Bir Sen Chairman and other union managers. While teachers and civil servants are experiencing economic difficulties, the public should also know how much salaries union managers receive."
In the statement made by the union, it was stated that "We continue to share as required by our understanding of transparent unionism. Our Chairman Oğuz Özat shared the information regarding salary and attendance fee payments for July with the public. While defending the rights of education workers, we also see transparency and accountability as the basic principle."
