MHP Çanakkale Provincial Chairman Salih Altınkaya stated that there was a good unity in the country after the treacherous coup attempt of July 15 and said, "I hope it never happens again." he said.
At the press conference he held at his party's provincial building on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, Altınkaya stated that there was a beautiful unity in the country after the treacherous coup attempt of July 15, and said, "I commemorate all our martyrs with mercy and gratitude. I hope it never happens again." he said.
Referring to the district congresses of his party, Altınkaya stated that they took office about 4 months ago and changed positions in some districts, and said, "We will continue our congresses. We opened our arms and will embrace everyone. There is no resentment in the Nationalist Movement Party. We want to get through our congresses without any problems and serve our districts and provinces. We find this very valuable." he said.
Altınkaya stated that when they took office, they first visited the Martyrs' Monument and then started field activities.
Touching on the goal of a terror-free Türkiye, Altınkaya said:
"There has been a terror scourge in our country for 40-45 years. While Europe was investing in its industry, we constantly fought against terrorism. We find our Chairman's comments regarding this process valuable. It is very important for us to end terrorism. No one should hesitate, there is no bargaining here. We are doing our best to make the families of the martyrs more comfortable for the welfare of the country. I hope there will be a stronger Türkiye."
