A cooperation protocol, prepared within the scope of the "Writing the History of Erzurum High School Project," was signed between the Erzurum Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Erzurum Technical University Rectorate.
It was signed at the Erzurum Technical University Rectorate Building by Provincial Director of National Education Süleyman Ekici and Erzurum Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak. Within the scope of the protocol, the historical journey of Erzurum High School, from its establishment to the present day, will be researched using scientific methods and recorded. While Erzurum Technical University will prepare a comprehensive historical album covering the school's educational tradition, institutional development, and notable alumni; Erzurum High School will conduct oral history interviews with alumni, retired teachers, and individuals who hold a significant place in the school's memory.
The data obtained from these interviews will be evaluated in line with academic writing principles, and a book narrating the history of Erzurum High School will be penned by Erzurum High School. The prepared album and book will undergo an academic consultancy process and will be presented to the public after the approval of both institutions.
In a statement made by the Erzurum Provincial Directorate of National Education regarding the matter, it was said, "Thus, a lasting and scientific work that documents Erzurum's deep-rooted educational heritage and sheds light on future generations will be brought to the world of education.
