İsmail Kefal, who was martyred in Istanbul during the July 15 coup attempt of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), was commemorated at his grave in Giresun.
In the program organized by Giresun Governorship within the scope of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day events, the grave of Kefal, who was martyred on the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, in Karademir village of Tirebolu district, was visited by Governor Mustafa Koç and protocol members.
In the program, flowers were left at the grave of the martyr, the Holy Quran was read and prayers were made.
After the program, Governor Koç met with the family of the martyr.
Stating that the state always stands by the families of martyrs and veterans, Koç commemorated all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the survival of the country with mercy, gratitude and gratitude.
Within the scope of the event, martyrs' graves were visited by Espiye Youth Center students in Espiye district.
In the program at Fatih Mosque, prayers were made for the martyrs.
