Health technician İsmail Çakır (51), who reportedly fell from the rocks while collecting St. John's wort in the mountainous area in Tavşanlı district of KÜTAHYA, lost his life.

The incident took place today in Ovacık village, Mor Kayalık location. Assoc. Prof. in the district. Dr. İsmail Çakır, who works as a medical technician at Mustafa Kalemli State Hospital, allegedly left home yesterday to collect St. John's Wort plants. When Çakır did not return home, his relatives, who became suspicious about his situation, reported him in the evening. Upon notice, gendarmerie and AFAD teams started a search operation in the region. As a result of the activities supported by the villagers, İsmail Çakır was found dead on the rocks today. Following the investigation by the gendarmerie and the prosecutor's office, Çakır's body was taken to the morgue of the hospital where he worked. It was stated that the exact cause of İsmail Çakır's death will become clear after the autopsy.
