Martyr Yasin Naci Ağaroğlu was commemorated at his grave on the 10th anniversary of July 15 - Last Minute

Yasin Naci Ağaroğlu, who was martyred during the coup attempt on July 15, 2016, in Korkuteli district of ANTALYA, was commemorated at his grave. Osman Ağaroğlu, the father of the martyr, said, "Today is our day of honor. We act with our foreheads open and our heads held high. We are proud that we lost martyrs to prevent us from leaving our country to those plunderers. That is why we are not humble."

Yasin Naci Ağaroğlu, a senior student at Ankara University Faculty of Law, who was martyred in the fire opened in front of the General Staff Headquarters during the coup attempt, was commemorated at his grave in Yazır District of Korkuteli on the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day. Antalya Hulusi Şahin, his wife Ebru Şahin, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Major General Ahmet Kavukcu, Provincial Police Chief Sabit Akın Zaimoğlu, District Governor Onur Yılmazer, politicians, representatives of public institutions and organizations, military and civilian officials, martyr Ağaroğlu's mother Zehra and father Osman Ağaroğlu and many citizens attended the program. After laying carnations on Yasin Naci Ağaroğlu's grave, the Holy Quran was read and prayers were said.

Speaking at the cemetery, Osman Ağaroğlu said, "Today is the historical day when the charlatans who tried to give our country to foreign powers 10 years ago were abandoned. It is not our day of mourning, it is our day of honor. We act with our heads open and our heads held high. We are proud that we gave martyrs to prevent us from leaving our country to those marauders. That is why we are not humbled. We are proud to have raised such a child. Those who do not live with courage die with their captivity. A land becomes a land, a homeland." "For it to happen, there has to be a price. That price is life and blood," he said.

Governor Hulusi Şahin said, "10 years have passed, but our pain is still fresh. We have not forgotten our martyrs, we will not forget them. The martyrs of this country deserve all the flowers. They are our honor and pride."
