The goal of Beren Su, who started boxing with the guidance of his father, is the European championship - Last Minute

14-year-old Beren Su Acar, who started boxing 6 years ago in Ordu, aims to win a gold medal at the European Under-15 Boxing Championship to be held in Trabzon.

Beren Su, who was previously involved in wrestling and was directed to boxing by his father, achieved various degrees in this branch, which he started at a young age.

In addition to coming third in Turkey, the athlete, who won the gold medal in the Under-15 Turkey Individual Boxing Championship held in Kayseri on 20-28 June, continues his preparations for the Under-15 European Boxing Championship to be held in Trabzon on 14-26 October.

Beren Su Acar, an athlete of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports Sports Club, told the AA reporter that he started boxing with the guidance of his father, who has been wrestling for about 15 years.

Beren Su Acar, who stated that he loved this branch, which he started in the city when he was 8 years old, explained that he improved himself by working intensively under the support of his father and under the supervision of his coaches in the early stages.

Beren Su Acar stated that he came third in the national competition in Bayburt, in which he participated for the first time, and said, "I became the Turkish champion in 52 kilos in Kayseri. I am going through a good process for the European championship. Our training is going very well. Then I will go to the camp. I hope to return by representing my province and my country. I aim to become a champion." he said.

Coach İsmail Uygunr stated that they have trained many successful athletes such as Beren Su Acar in his 14-year career.

Pointing out that Beren Su started this sport at a young age, uyr continued his words as follows:

"We have progressed our athlete in this branch with the support of his father and family. It is very important for us that the family supports him, not only with the efforts of the coach. In this way, we achieve success faster. We expect good results from him at the European championship in October. Because he has had a very good activity period and it is continuing at the moment. He will already see four camps. We expect a gold medal from Beren Su Acar in the European championship to be held in Trabzon. There is no reason why he should not, he is doing his activities very well."

Coach Batuhan Yeniyol also noted that they plan to proudly represent both Ordu and Türkiye this year with Beren Su Acar.
