FIFA imposed a transfer ban on Kayserispor on the grounds that Jung from the yellow-red team will receive 120 thousand euros. In the written statement made by Kayserispor Press Spokesperson Emir Akpınar, "The transfer ban decision in the amount of 120,000 Euros regarding the Gideon Jung file, which is one of our club's files at FIFA, has been notified to our club as of 14.07.2026. The decision in question is not a permanent transfer ban, but is an application that can be lifted by fulfilling the relevant obligation.
